What fabric is Bob's Sleepwear Co. made from?
All Bob's pieces are crafted from 95% viscose from bamboo and 5% spandex. Bamboo viscose is one of the best fabrics available for temperature regulation — it's breathable, naturally moisture-wicking, and stays incredibly soft wash after wash. It's especially popular with hot sleepers and anyone who runs warm at night.
Is Bob's Sleepwear designed for men?
Yes — Bob's is engineered with men's fit and thermal needs in mind. That said, our tee shirts have become a genuine fan favourite among women who wear them oversized as sleep shirts. The lightweight fabric, crew neck, and shorter length that still covers the bum make them ideal. Women typically size up one or two sizes.
Can I mix and match pieces to make a set?
Absolutely. That's the whole idea. Every tee is designed to pair with any jogger or short in the collection. Stick to a single colour for a polished look, or mix a solid top with a printed bottom for something a bit more fun. We also carry select pre-bundled sets if you'd rather skip the styling.
What sizes do you carry?
Bob's Sleepwear Co. runs XS through 3XL. Our male model Joel is 6'1" and 185 lbs and wears a medium. Our female model Robyn is 5'3" with a 39" bust and 30" waist and wears a small. We recommend checking the size guide on each product page for the most accurate fit.
Is bamboo sleepwear good for night sweats?
It genuinely is. Bamboo viscose has a natural ability to wick moisture and release heat, which makes it significantly more comfortable for hot sleepers than cotton or polyester. It won't eliminate night sweats, but it works with your body rather than trapping heat against it. Many of our customers with night sweats — whether from medications, sleep apnea, stress, or just naturally running warm — tell us it's the first sleepwear they've found that actually helps.
Do you ship outside Canada?
Yes! We ship worldwide. We also offer $10 flat-rate shipping across Canada and free local pick-up at our three Edmonton, Alberta locations.
How do I care for bamboo sleepwear?
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, and tumble dry low or hang to dry. Avoid bleach and high heat — both will shorten the life of the fabric. The softer you treat it, the longer it stays luxuriously soft.
