We believe in How an item is made, rather than Where an item is made, and while we'd love to have our items produced in Canada, the cost of manufacturing here would greatly impact the price of our items, making them inaccessible to our loyal customers.

We want you to be happy with your purchase! If you need to return an item, please contact us at webstore@cloudninepajamas.com to start the process. Damaged or defective items can be evaluated for exchange or refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Return Process

To initiate a return, please contact us at webstore@cloudninepajamas.com. If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that items sent back to us without prior authorization will not be accepted.

The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. If you are local, you can visit any of our store locations to process your return in person.

Orders shipped to the USA are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

We are pleased to ship (most) of our products worldwide! However, some items are not eligible for international shipping. These include (but are not limited to):

Shipping Carriers & Processing Time

We ship via Canada Post, UPS, Purolator, and FedEx. Orders are processed as quickly as possible; however, as we pull inventory from four locations, it may take 1-2 business days before items are ready for shipping.

We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or General Holidays.

Shipping Rates

Within Canada:

  • Alberta: Flat rate of $15 for orders under $150 CAD
  • Rest of Canada: Flat rate of $20 for orders under $150 CAD
  • Free shipping on orders over $150 CAD

Shipping to the USA:

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on carrier rates.
  • All USA orders are Final Sale and cannot be returned.

Edmonton, AB. born Sisters/Owners Miranda, Kate and Robyn took over Cloud Nine Pajamas with the goal of creating a niche in the beautiful landscape that is Canadian, Women-Owned Business. With 3 Brick and Mortar Boutiques & shipping across North America via the Online store, it’s a goal that’s coming true!

The brands they carry vary from coveted + well-known to numerous locally owned small businesses. Amazingly comfortable

When I say that they are comfortable, it just doesn’t do justice to these shorts. They are quite literally the softest fabric ever made. Lightweight and buttery soft, they are perfect to sleep in or wear under a skirt or dress. They are incredibly breathable, which is perfect for hot summer nights.

My only complaint is that they run way too big. I’m typically somewhere between a women’s size 12 and 14, so often opt for an XL. I sized down in these to a L because they’re stretchy with a lot of give. But when I wore them under a dress last week, I spent the whole evening pulling them up. Definitely size down, but maybe even go two sizes down to keep them from falling off. If you can try them on in store before choosing a size, that will help you find the best size for you. Keep in mind that they tend to loosen up as you wear them.

These shorts are a really good value for the price. You will not regret investing in them.
