Why bamboo over cotton for sleep?
Bamboo is significantly more breathable and moisture-wicking than cotton — it moves sweat away from skin rather than absorbing it, which makes a real difference for men who run warm overnight. The viscose from bamboo construction is also considerably softer than standard cotton jersey and gets softer with washing rather than rougher.
Why no fabric softener?
Fabric softener coats bamboo fibres and gradually reduces their moisture-wicking performance — the opposite of what it's supposed to do. Cold wash, tumble dry low is the right care and keeps the tees performing properly wash after wash.
Do these shrink?
With cold washing and low tumble drying, shrinkage is minimal. The bamboo-spandex blend has good dimensional stability — these hold their shape through repeated washing better than cotton equivalents.
Can I wear these as regular tees?
Yes — the relaxed (not boxy) fit, the curved hem, and the four neutral-to-versatile colours all work beyond the bedroom. The White is substantial enough that it's not see-through, and the Midnight Teal Blue reads as a casual wardrobe colour rather than obviously sleepwear.
