Is this sold as a single pillowcase or a pair?
Sold individually — one pillowcase per purchase at $49. For a King bed with two pillows, you would add two to your cart. This allows you to start with one and add as needed, or mix sizes if your bed uses one King and one Standard pillow.

How is bamboo different from cotton for a pillowcase?

How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Hang to dry or tumble dry low. Avoid high heat — bamboo viscose prefers cool, gentle treatment and will stay soft and bright with cold washing. Do not bleach. Washing inside out preserves the surface finish longest.
Will it pill or lose its softness?
With proper cold washing and low-heat or hang drying, bamboo viscose maintains its surface softness through repeated washing. Avoid high heat drying, which is the primary cause of pilling and surface degradation in bamboo fabric.
