Maison Berger Paris was founded in 1898 by pharmacy dispenser Maurice Berger, who invented the catalytic lamp to purify the air in Paris hospitals. Cotton Caress, the included fragrance, is a masterclass in subtle luxury: alluring rose and fresh, clean notes open the composition, continuing into a powdery floral heart of orange blossom. The base is a soft veil of musk and vanilla punctuated by cedarwood — a fragrance that feels like clean skin, warm fabric, and everything comfortable at once.
How to Use Your Lamp
- Fill the lamp approximately two-thirds full with refill oil
- Insert the wick-burner and allow to soak for 20 minutes
- Light the wick-burner and allow to flame for approximately 2 minutes
- Blow out the flame — the catalytic stone continues working without a visible flame
- Place the decorative diffuser top on the lamp
- Run for 20–30 minutes per session in a standard room
- Always extinguish with the snuffer cap — never use the decorative top to extinguish
