Got a question? You're in good company. Here's everything our team gets asked most, from pickup and shipping to why bamboo pyjamas are a game changer for night sweats. Can't find your answer? We're real people in Edmonton and we'd love to help.

Pickup & Store Stock

Can I order online and pick up in store?

Yes! Free Local Pick Up is available at all three of our boutiques: High Street, Windermere and St. Albert. Choose Free Local Pick Up at checkout and pick your store. You can only choose a store if that location (or our warehouse) has your item in stock.

Please wait for our email or call letting you know your order is packed and ready. Most pickups are ready within 2 hours; if an item is coming from our warehouse, the longer wait is shown at checkout. Orders placed after store hours are ready the next day.

Prefer it delivered? Choose our easy $10 flat rate shipping and we'll gather everything up and bring it to your door.

Can you tell me if a specific store has my size?

On any product page, click the available locations link just below the Add to Cart button to see where it's in stock. Each boutique also carries its own selection, so the fastest way to check a specific store is to give them a call:

High Street780-455-6633
Windermere780-482-6713
St. Albert780-569-5321

Or email us with the style, colour and size and we'll check for you. Tip: ordering online with Free Local Pick Up is the surest way to have it waiting for you. Find addresses and hours on our Locations & Hours page.

Can you hold something for me to try on?

Absolutely. Call the store and we'll hold it for you for 48 hours. Or order online with Free Local Pick Up: that reserves it for you, and you can try it on when you collect it.

Shipping & Delivery

How much is shipping, and how long will my order take?
  • Canada: a $10 flat rate, Canada-wide, shipped from our Edmonton warehouse.
  • Processing: orders are usually ready to ship within 2–4 business days, because we pull from our boutiques and warehouse. We don't ship on weekends or statutory holidays.
  • Delivery: once shipped, most Canadian orders arrive within about 2–7 business days, depending on where you are. Rural and northern addresses can take a little longer.
  • Carriers: Canada Post, UPS, Purolator and FedEx. Every order ships with tracking.

See our full Shipping Policy for details.

Do you offer free shipping?

We don't offer free shipping. Instead, Canadian orders are a flat $10 anywhere in the country, and Free Local Pick Up is always free at our Edmonton and St. Albert boutiques.

Do you ship to the USA or internationally?

Not right now. We're currently shipping within Canada only. We'd love to send cozy your way again in the future, so follow along on Instagram for updates.

How is my order packed? Is it gift-ready?

Every order is wrapped in tissue with prices removed and a gift receipt tucked inside, so it's ready to give. Our shipping bags are plain, but the shipping label does show our name.

Can I choose Canada Post?

We pick the best carrier for your location and parcel size to keep our flat rate fair. If you have a strong preference, email us right after you order and we'll do our best before it ships.

Can I ship to more than one address in a single order?

Our checkout can't split shipping just yet. If you're sending gifts to different people, please place a separate order for each address.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, as long as it hasn't shipped. We move quickly, so email us right away if you need to change a size or colour or cancel. Once an order has shipped, we can't change or cancel it, but you can return it.

My tracking says delivered, but my parcel isn't here.

Check with neighbours, your building's front desk or parcel room, and your local post office first. Parcels marked delivered sometimes turn up a day later. Still missing? Email us with your order number and we'll open a trace with the carrier. Once a package is marked shipped, Cloud Nine isn't responsible for lost or stolen parcels, but we'll always help you chase it down.

Something is missing or damaged in my order.

We're so sorry! Email us with your order number, what's missing or damaged, and a photo if you can, or visit any of our boutiques and ask for a manager. We'll make it right.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

Nice and flexible! There's no strict deadline, but as a small business we really appreciate returns started within 90 days of purchase. Items should be unworn and unwashed, with tags attached.

  • Local? Bring it to any of our three boutiques.
  • By mail: start your return from your online account (or the link in your SMS order confirmation if you checked out with a phone number), or email us. Please wait for our return instructions before mailing anything; parcels sent without authorization can't be accepted. Return shipping is the customer's cost, and original shipping fees aren't refundable.
  • Refunds go back to your original payment method within about 3 business days of reaching our warehouse.

Read the full Refund Policy.

Which items are final sale?

For hygiene and practical reasons, these are final sale: underwear, socks, slippers (including slipper socks), boxers, personal-care products, makeup cloths and hair towels, custom or special-order items, gift cards, and marked-down clearance. We may offer an exchange or store credit on clearance at our discretion.

Can I exchange for a different size?

Of course! If we have your size, we're happy to swap it. Exchanges can be done at any of our Edmonton-area boutiques, or email us with your order number and the size you need.

I'm buying a Christmas gift. What if it doesn't fit?

Every order includes a gift receipt. Holiday gifts can be returned for a refund to the original payment, an exchange, or store credit. There's no set deadline, but we'd be grateful if holiday returns are wrapped up by the end of February.

How does store credit work?

Store credit never expires. It's attached to your email or customer account and can be used online or in our boutiques, alongside other promotions and sale items. Just sign in before checking out and your credit will show up as a payment option.

Gift Cards, Discounts & Special Orders

How do I get 10% off my first order?

Sign up through the pop-up on our website and watch your inbox for our "Welcome to Cloud Nine" email: your 10% code is waiting inside. It's for first-time customers, applies to regular-priced items only, and is valid online. Can't find it? Check your spam or promotions folder, or email us and we'll look it up.

Why isn't a promotion applying to my items?

Most promotions apply automatically at checkout on qualifying items. If something hasn't been discounted, it may be excluded, or the promotion may not have started yet or already ended. Unless it's an "additional off clearance" event, items already on sale are usually excluded. For buy-one-get-one offers, make sure both items are in your cart.

Why is the price different from the ad I saw?

Our promotions run for set dates, so the ad you saw may be from an event that has ended. If you think a current offer should apply, send us the wording or a screenshot by email and we'll take a look.

What gift card amounts do you offer?

Digital gift cards are available online from $10 to $500, delivered by email, and can be used in-store and online. Gift cards can also be bought in-store at any of our boutiques. Need a custom amount? Call any boutique and we can create one and send it by email.

How do I check my gift card balance?

Please don't share your full gift card number in chat. You can:

  • Click the link in your gift card email to view your balance.
  • Enter the code at checkout and click Apply. Your balance isn't used until you place the order, so it's safe to just check.
  • Email us the last 4 digits of your card, or pop into any boutique and we'll check it securely.
Can I use my in-store gift card online?

Yes! If your physical gift card has no QR code on it, add the prefix CN in front of the digits on your card (no spaces) and enter it at checkout. Cards with a QR code work as is. More help on our Use a Gift Card page.

Can you special-order a style or print you don't carry?

Many of our styles are limited stock, but we're happy to ask! Email us the style name, print and size, and we'll check with the brand. Special orders, when available, are final sale.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. You can split your purchase into smaller payments with Shop Pay Installments or Sezzle at checkout. Learn more about Shop Pay Installments.

Bamboo, Night Sweats & Fabrics

What are the best pyjamas for hot flashes, night sweats and menopause?

Look for breathable, moisture-wicking fabric first, and a looser silhouette second. That's exactly why we designed our own bamboo brand, Georgia Rylan, specifically for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. Bamboo pulls moisture away from your skin instead of holding it there like cotton, so you're less likely to wake up damp and chilled. If you run very hot, start with a nightgown or tank and short set; for cooler months, a long-sleeve bamboo set still breathes beautifully. Our guide One Print, Every Season walks through it.

What's the difference between bamboo and cotton pyjamas?

Cotton is soft and comfy, but it absorbs moisture and holds onto it, which is why cotton PJs can feel damp after a warm night. Bamboo rayon is silkier to the touch, drapes beautifully, breathes well and wicks moisture away from your skin, so it feels cooler and drier. Bamboo also tends to get softer with every wash. Learn more on our Why Bamboo? page.

What does "moisture-wicking" actually mean?

It means the fabric draws moisture (like sweat) away from your skin and lets it spread out and evaporate, instead of soaking it up and staying wet against you. For hot sleepers and anyone with night sweats, that's the difference between waking up clammy and waking up comfortable.

Are your pyjamas good for sensitive skin?

Our in-house bamboo brands, Georgia Rylan and Bob's Sleepwear Co., are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, which means the fabric is tested to be free from harmful levels of substances that can irritate skin. Bamboo's smooth, soft feel is a favourite with customers who find other fabrics scratchy.

How do I wash bamboo pyjamas so they last?

Machine wash cold, then hang to dry or tumble dry on low. Skip the fabric softener: bamboo is already soft, and softener can coat the fibres and reduce their wicking. Washing with similar soft fabrics (not towels or jeans) keeps them looking their best.

Will bamboo shrink or pill?

Bamboo is happiest in cold water and low heat. High heat is what causes shrinking, so follow the care label and you'll be in great shape. Like any soft fabric, bamboo can pill with friction, so washing it inside out and away from rough fabrics helps keep it smooth.

Do you carry men's pyjamas for night sweats?

Yes! Bob's Sleepwear Co. is our own men's bamboo line, made with the same OEKO-TEX® certified bamboo as Georgia Rylan. Perfect for the man in your life who runs warm (or steals the covers and then complains).

Where are Georgia Rylan and Bob's pyjamas designed and made?

Every style is designed by our team right here in Edmonton. They're made in China by our trusted production partners, close to where bamboo is grown, and certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. Producing them in Canada would price them out of reach for our customers, and we'd rather keep great bamboo sleepwear accessible.

Sizing & Fit

How do I know what size to buy?

Click the size guide link just under the sizes on any product page, and check the fit notes in the description. Because we carry many brands, sizing varies from brand to brand, so it's worth a quick look if a brand is new to you. All of our charts live in one place on our Size Guides & Fit Charts page. Still unsure? Email us and we'll help you choose.

What sizes do you carry?

Our own brands, Georgia Rylan and Miranda Nic, come in XS through 3XL, and we carry size-inclusive styles from many other brands too. Browse our size-inclusive collection. Georgia Rylan fits true to size; if you're between sizes, size up for a more relaxed fit (Georgia Rylan size guide).

Do you carry men's sleepwear?

We're primarily a women's sleepwear and loungewear boutique, but we also carry men's pyjamas and loungewear, including our own Bob's Sleepwear Co. bamboo line, SAXX and more.

About Cloud Nine Pajamas

Is Cloud Nine Pajamas a Canadian company?

Yes! We're a family-owned, female-owned Canadian boutique that's been helping people sleep better for more than 20 years, with three boutiques in Edmonton and St. Albert, Alberta. When you call or email, you're talking to our local team.

Where do my pyjamas come from? Are you a dropshipper?

Where can I buy PJ Salvage in Canada?

Right here! Cloud Nine Pajamas is Canada's largest PJ Salvage retailer, with a wide selection of their flannel, butter jersey and loungewear sets online and in our boutiques. Shop PJ Salvage.

Are you the same "Cloud Nine" I've seen in other online ads?

Probably not! We're Cloud Nine Pajamas, specializing in sleepwear and loungewear. We're not affiliated with online companies selling weighted hoodies, "anxiety" products or electronics under a similar name.
