Kate's Summer Picks
Kate’s summer is all about making the most of those long sunny days with her son. “We love taking trips to the Edmonton Valley Zoo,” she says. “It’s one of our favourite spots for a low-key, animal-filled afternoon.”
When they’re not saying hi to the red pandas, they’re off to the TELUS World of Science to beat the heat and spark a little curiosity. And for a quick getaway? “We’re hoping to get out to Jasper for some hiking and mountain air—nothing beats it.”
Miranda’s Summer Musts
Miranda’s summer vibes are all about simple pleasures and neighbourhood favourites. “Every Saturday morning, we grab a coffee at Happy & Olive and walk to Crestwood Park—it’s become a little tradition.”
When the sun’s shining, you’ll find her family enjoying the lake at Alberta Beach, and this year, they’re adding a trip to a local berry picking farm and Fort Edmonton Park to the mix. “Harper’s never been, so I’m excited to experience it all through her eyes.”
Robyn’s Summer Moments
Robyn and her girls are packing up for a special trip to Manitoba for a family wedding—one of those rare, sweet getaways that blend celebration and connection. But most of the summer?
“We’re homebodies in the best way,” she shares. “We spend a lot of time in our backyard pool, biking the neighbourhood, and playing with the local kids. It’s a full house all summer—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
