Bamboo rayon does two things cotton can't: it actively wicks moisture away from skin (so night sweats stay dry) and it regulates temperature rather than insulating. You sleep cooler in summer and don't wake up cold in winter. Once you've slept in bamboo, regular cotton feels like a significant downgrade.
Is a nightgown comfortable to move around in?
