What started as an after-school job has turned into the cozy business of our dreams ✨

 

Picture this - it's the year 2009, we're all teenagers. Along came the chance to take over a charming little family boutique just down the road from where we live —and it felt as though the stars had aligned just for us. Everything about it felt meant to be.

 

Robyn had just graduated from high school, and the timing felt right—it was an opportunity to build something of our own, right here in our hometown of Edmonton, AB!

 

After school and on weekends, Miranda and Kate would help out at the store, dreaming big and falling in love with what we were creating together as sisters. 

 

From day one, we poured everything we had into offering the best products and customer service for our customers. We knew it's what would make us stand out!

 

As time went on, we took a leap of faith and began to grow—opening new locations and learning every step of the way. Some store locations stayed, some didn’t, but each experience helped us better understand what felt true to our family values and long-term vision. Today, we’ve found our stride with three beautiful boutiques (and an amazing team) across Edmonton, each one thoughtfully built to reflect who we are. We’ve also discovered a genuine love for sharing our products far and wide through our online store—something our team has poured their hearts into and takes great pride in.

After years of curating cozy sleepwear, we realized just how limited our options were when sourcing pieces for our own boutique. There was a clear gap in the industry—pajamas that not only helped our customers sleep better (because hot flashes and night sweats are no joke!) but also looked stylish and put-together.

 

So, we took another big leap and created our own sleepwear brands—designed with luxurious fabrics like bamboo (our signature), flattering fits, and real-life comfort in mind. What we love most is being able to listen to our customers, take their feedback to heart, and actually have the power to make meaningful changes. It means everything to us to create sleepwear that truly serves real people. We're also passionate about designing our pieces in sizes XS through 3XL, because we believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.

 

Fast forward to now, Cloud Nine is about to celebrate 20 YEARS as a company, we're creating multiple collections each year of our own dreamy designs, AND we're even wholesaling them to other boutiques across Canada!
