Meet Remove It — the brand we made because the end of the day deserves better than a pile of disposable wipes and a regular towel that frizzes your hair.

Remove It is Cloud Nine's own line of high-performance, reusable self-care essentials. Designed in Canada. Built to last. Made for the part of your day when you're finally done performing for everyone else and just want to feel good.

Our Makeup Remover Cloths use nothing but warm water to lift every trace of makeup — foundation, liner, waterproof mascara, all of it — in one or two swipes. No chemicals. No cotton pads. No ten-step process. Just incredibly soft microfibre that does the work so you don't have to. Toss it in the wash, and it's ready to go again. And again. And again.

Our Quick Dry Hair Towel Wraps are made from the same ultra-absorbent microfibre — gentle enough to prevent frizz and breakage, fast enough to cut your dry time in half. The button closure actually stays put while you do your skincare. The plopping method finally works the way it's supposed to. And you'll stop reaching for your regular towel after approximately one use.

Together they're a complete, quiet upgrade to the ritual you do every single night. The kind of thing that doesn't sound exciting until you have it — and then you genuinely cannot imagine going back.

Good to Know

Do Remove It cloths really remove makeup with just water?

Yes — and we know that sounds too good to be true, but it's the whole point. Remove It cloths are made from densely woven microfibre that uses physical action (not chemicals) to lift makeup from your skin. The warm water activates the fibres, and they draw out makeup, dirt, and oil — including waterproof formulas — without needing any cleanser or remover.

One swipe takes off mascara. Two takes off a full face of foundation. That's it.

What about waterproof mascara and long-wear foundation?

Waterproof formulas require a bit more warm water and a second pass — but they do come off. The key is warmth: the warmer the water, the better the microfibre works. Run the cloth under hot water, wring it out, and give the stubborn spots a second circular-motion swipe. Works on long-wear, full-coverage, and all the formulas you'd normally need a dedicated remover for.

Is it safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin?

It's one of the best options for sensitive skin, actually — because there's nothing in it. No chemicals, no fragrance, no preservatives, no surfactants. Just microfibre and water. That means nothing to irritate, nothing to cause a reaction, and no stripping of your skin's natural barrier.

If your skin reacts to micellar water, cleansing balms, or wipe ingredients, Remove It is worth trying. Many people with rosacea, eczema, or breakout-prone skin find it far gentler than anything else they've used.

How long will a cloth last?

A very long time. Remove It cloths are designed to hold up through hundreds — realistically thousands — of machine washes. They won't go plasticky, stiff, or smelly with regular washing. The microfibre maintains its softness and effectiveness wash after wash.

Most people replace theirs when they want a new colour, not because the cloth has worn out.

How do I wash the cloth?

Throw it in the washing machine with your regular towels. That's genuinely it.

Two things to avoid: fabric softener and dryer sheets. Both leave a coating on microfibre that reduces how well it absorbs — you'll notice it feels a bit waxy and doesn't work as well. Skip those and it stays soft and effective indefinitely.

It's a good idea to do one wash before the very first use as well.

Can I use it to travel?

It's one of the best travel skincare items you can pack. It's lightweight, quick-drying, and replaces your entire stash of makeup wipes, cotton pads, and micellar water. Just tuck it in your carry-on and you're done.

It also means you're not stuck buying disposable wipes at an airport convenience store at 11pm. We've all been there.

Does it work on eye makeup specifically?

Yes — the short-fibre side is soft enough to use on the delicate eye area and effective enough to take off liner, shadow, and mascara without tugging. Just close your eye and use gentle circular motions. Start at the lash line and work outward.

The flip side (long-fibre) is for gentle exfoliation — we'd stick to the short-fibre side around the eyes.

Why is microfibre better than a regular towel for my hair?

A regular terry cloth towel has a rough, looped texture that creates friction when your hair is wet and vulnerable. That friction is what causes frizz, flyaways, and over time, breakage — especially at the ends.

Microfibre has a much finer, smoother weave. It absorbs water quickly and gently, without the rough rubbing that damages the hair cuticle. The result is less frizz, more shine, and hair that dries faster because the towel is actually pulling moisture out rather than just moving it around.

What is the plopping method and does this towel work for it?

Plopping is a curl-care technique where instead of rubbing or wringing wet hair, you scrunch it into a microfibre towel and let it sit for 10–20 minutes. This helps curls form and set without disturbance, reducing frizz and enhancing definition.

The Remove It hair towel is designed for it. The lightweight microfibre doesn't weigh curls down while they're forming, and the button closure keeps everything secure while you do your skincare. It works on curly and wavy hair, and many straight-hair people use it too — the faster dry time and reduced frizz benefits apply to all hair types.

What does the button closure do?

It keeps the towel on your head while you move around — doing your skincare, making tea, getting dressed. A regular towel falls off constantly and you end up just holding it there, which defeats the purpose.

The Remove It closure buttons at the nape of your neck and stays put. It sounds like a small thing until you've used one and realised how much mental energy went into keeping your towel on your head before.

Does it work on thick or very long hair?

Yes. The towel is generously sized and the microfibre is highly absorbent — it handles thick, long, and curly hair well. If your hair is extremely long or very dense, you might want a second one for extra wrap coverage at the ends, but most people find one does the job.

How do I care for the hair towel?

Same as the makeup cloths — machine wash with similar colours, no fabric softener, no dryer sheets. It dries quickly on its own or you can tumble dry on low. The button is durable through regular washing, but popping it in a mesh laundry bag is a good habit if you want to protect it long-term.
