I’ve been running Cloud Nine since 2009, after purchasing it at 18, and it’s been my full-time passion ever since! I love designing brands like Georgia Rylan, which I created to help women sleep better—especially with its bamboo fabric that’s been a game-changer for me, helping with night sweats.

At home, I’m all about coziness, shedding my bra (unless it’s my Katie ‘Em Bra), and slipping into pajamas as soon as I walk in the door. On weekends, you’ll find me sipping a latte in my PJs with a Jan Marie blanket. For gifts, I always recommend our Jan Marie robes or blankets, perfect for anyone going through a tough time or a new mom, and Georgia Rylan sleepwear for anyone dealing with menopause or cancer treatments—it’s truly life-changing!

Fifteen years at Cloud Nine—basically a lifetime of coziness! She started part-time in high school and never looked back, joining her sister Robyn full-time after graduation. The youngest of the three sisters, she stepped into a new role in 2023—becoming a mom to a beautiful baby girl!

Her go-to gift? Pajamas and self-care essentials, especially for new and expecting moms. She believes every mom deserves comfort, and during those early months, a cozy care package is the perfect way to remind them they’re loved and supported.

With 15 years at Cloud Nine, she’s practically part of the fabric of the company! She started part-time through university and has been full-time ever since. Home life is a house full of boys—her amazing husband, the cutest toddler, and a labradoodle named Murphy, who they adopted in 2019.

Her absolute favourite brand? Georgia Rylan, named after her adorable niece, and crafted from bamboo fabric that’s perfect year-round. She’s all about that comfort, and yes, you’ll catch her in PJs any time of day—because life's too short not to be cozy! For her, the best way to spend a cozy weekend morning is with a warm cup of tea and snuggles while reading books with her son.

Shawna has been part of the Cloud Nine family for since 2003, and she’s basically the queen of cozy! Fun fact: she married the boy next door—literally! (Their parents still live side by side ❤️)

When it comes to sleepwear, she swears by Georgia Rylan for its moisture-wicking magic (a must for menopausal nights!). Her perfect weekend? Staying in PJs as long as possible, coffee in hand, wrapped in her favourite Jan Marie blanket while catching up on TV. And if you need a gift recommendation, she’ll always point you to Snoozie slippers—soft, washable, and perfect for travel!

Manager, Windermere

Four years at Cloud Nine, and it’s safe to say she’s living the pajama dream! If she’s off the clock, chances are she’s in her PJs—so much so that even her son calls her out on it! Her go-to brand? Georgia Rylan, because it’s so comfy yet stylish that she doesn’t feel like she’s in pajamas all day (even if she totally is!).

Evenings are for unwinding in bamboo, a good book, and a glass of wine—or swapping the book for a hockey game with her husband and son. And when it comes to gifting, she swears by Barefoot Venus All Cracked Up—like a pedicure in a jar, perfect for tired feet after a long day!

Gena is the friendly face leading our High Street location! Married to her best friend Frank and mom to two grown boys, she’s also dog mom to Beamer, a very spoiled miniature Dachshund. After 20+ years in the airline industry and running marathons around the world, Gena brings energy, style, and heart to everything she does.

A longtime Cloud Nine fan, she’s back with our team and excited to welcome customers into the cozy world she loves. When she’s not in-store, you’ll find her designing beaded jewelry or refreshing her home décor.

EComm & Wholesale Manager

Joining Cloud Nine in 2023, this busy mom of 2 knows a thing or two about comfort! When she’s not reading, running, or planning her next getaway, she’s cozying up in her favourite Georgia Rylan pieces (choosing just one is impossible!).

She also swears by the Remove It cloth—it’s the only thing she uses on her face, and now her whole family is hooked! Evenings are all about slipping into Miranda Nic loungewear, washing the day away, and curling up with tea, a book, and her cats.

Marketing Coordinator

Sydney started with Cloud Nine in 2023, and you've probably seen her all over our Socials! A book lover at heart, she just started a book club—because what’s better than curling up in comfy pajamas with a great read?

Speaking of PJs, she’s obsessed with PJ Salvage for their fun prints and timeless styles. Her perfect evening? A soft blanket, a good book, and a warm chamomile tea. And when it comes to gifting, she swears by the Cozy Cabin Blanket—it’s big enough for even the tallest friends and perfect for movie nights, making it the ultimate cozy essential!

The reason any of the stores have any stock, and how your packages get to you, Katrina has been with Cloud Nine for over five years, starting In-Store at our Windermere location and now Managing our Warehouse!

This yoga-loving mom of two is obsessed with comfort - As a yoga teacher, she practically lives in Georgia Rylan bamboo (it’s her go-to for sleeping, meditating, stretching, and lounging). If you ask for a must-have recommendation, she’ll tell you Mustard Bath is a game-changer—perfect for unwinding, easing headaches, or fighting off a cold.
