What does velour with a brushed interior feel like?
The outside has the characteristic velour pile — soft, slightly napped, with a gentle sheen that makes it look more expensive than most pyjama fabrics. The brushed interior adds a second layer of softness against the skin, so it's comfortable from both directions. It's a more substantial fabric than jersey — there's real weight to it, which makes it feel like proper pyjamas rather than a lightweight set.
Is the Book Club print subtle or bold?
A book-themed print on velour reads as charming and specific rather than loud — the velour's texture softens the print slightly, giving it a more painterly, detailed quality than the same print would have on a flat fabric. It's immediately recognisable as a book print without being cartoonish.
