The Full Story
An extra-large hot and cold therapy wrap for the back, neck and shoulders: 10″ × 26″, 4.5 lbs, and heavy enough to feel it. It's filled with rice, flax and herbs plus Warm Buddy's aromatherapy blend of lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary and cloves. Microwave it for deep, moist heat that stays put, or put it in the freezer for a cold pack that molds to the spot. It's the one to reach for after a long run, a day of yard work or a week of hunching over a laptop. Ultra-soft chocolate brown cover. Made in Canada.
Sore muscles · Hot or cold · Post-workout
How to Use:
- Warm: remove the heat pad and microwave it per the label, in the centre of the oven, in 30-second bursts until comfortably warm. Put it back inside.
- Cool: place the pad in the freezer for a few hours, then reinsert it.
- Care: take the pad out and machine wash the cover on gentle. Air dry. Never wash the heat pad.
- Scent: the pad is unscented. Add a few drops of essential oil after heating if you like.

Good to Know
How do I use it hot?
Warm it in the microwave following the instructions on the wrap, in 30-second bursts if you're unsure, and keep it off the oven walls. Then lay it across the sore spot.
And cold?
Put it in a plastic bag and freeze it for a few hours. Cold is the usual choice for swelling and bruises.
Where does it work best?
It's long enough for the whole back, or around the neck and over both shoulders. Many people also use it on stiff joints.
How long does the heat last?
Warm Buddy says the bigger wraps, like this one, hold their heat longest, up to an hour.
Smells like?
Herbal: lavender and peppermint first, with eucalyptus, rosemary and cloves behind. A few drops of essential oil after heating refreshes it when it fades.
Daily use okay?
It's made to be used again and again. If you have a medical condition or are unsure about heat, ask your doctor or pharmacist first.
