What does the texture actually feel like?
Soft and plush in the way a good hotel robe feels — a bit extravagant for something that goes on your feet. The 100% polyester plush construction has a slight loft to it that makes them feel more substantial than a standard cosy sock without being heavy. They're the sock you reach for on a slow morning.

Do they really work in boots?
Yes — the plush construction is soft enough that it doesn't add meaningful bulk inside a standard boot shaft. They tuck in cleanly and stay put. The slouch-or-pull-up format means you can adjust the cuff height to suit the boot.
