What makes a 2x2 rib different from regular jersey?
A 2x2 rib knit has alternating columns of two raised ribs and two recessed ribs, giving the fabric a textured, slightly structured surface rather than a flat jersey finish. It has more visual depth than plain jersey, holds its shape slightly better, and has a subtle stretch and recovery that keeps the set looking neat through wear.
