Why We Love It
- The tie waist that works for everyone. A decorative tie at the waist creates definition and adjustability in one — cinch it, leave it loose, or style it to the side. The elastic waist underneath ensures comfort regardless of how you wear the tie.
- Viscose-blend knit with beautiful drape. The 65% viscose, 35% polyester construction gives this dress a softness and fluid drape that regular cotton knits don't achieve. It skims the body gracefully and moves beautifully — the kind of fabric that photographs well because it actually falls well.
- A textured, double-layer construction. The knit has a subtle texture that adds depth to the stripe pattern, and the double-layer construction gives it opacity and structure without making it heavy.

Scarlett Ellie made this dress for real summer days with multiple acts. The viscose-blend knit construction keeps it polished even after a full day of wear, and the two stripe colourways — Black Stripe and Blue Stripe — are both versatile enough to dress up or down without thinking.

The 65% viscose content is worth knowing about — viscose drapes more fluidly than cotton and has a slight lustre that makes the stripe pattern especially vivid. It also requires a little more care than a standard cotton knit, but rewards that care with a dress that stays looking beautiful for seasons.
