Does this come with the nightshirt, or is it sold separately?
Sold separately — the robe is its own product at Cloud Nine, and the Georgia Rylan Bamboo Plaid V-Neck Nightshirt is also available separately. The two together make a complete gifting set: nightshirt underneath, robe over the top, both in the same tartan plaid. The product images show them layered so you can see exactly how they look together.
Why short rather than floor-length?
Knee length means you can actually move in it — go downstairs, make coffee, let the dog out — without the robe dragging or getting in the way. The tie belt and inner cinch give you the fitted, proper-robe feel at knee length. If you want a longer robe in the Georgia Rylan range, the chenille and fleece robes at Cloud Nine have the full-length option.
What does the inner belt do?
The inner tie at the waist keeps the robe closed securely underneath the decorative tie belt — so it stays closed properly rather than relying on the outer belt alone. A small but meaningful detail for anyone who's had a wrap robe slowly come open throughout the morning.
