What does PJ Salvage's satin actually feel like?
Smooth, cool, and a bit silky — polyester satin without the dry-cleaning anxiety of actual silk. The 3% elastane means it stretches a little, which helps it feel comfortable rather than stiff. It's the lighter, more fluid alternative to the flannel version of the same print.
Is the satin print the same as the flannel?
Yes — same watercolour cats and dogs, same ivory background, same contrast piping. The satin version catches light slightly differently, which makes the watercolour illustration look even more painterly. You can mix the flannel pant with the satin top if you like.
Is it worth the extra over the flannel set?
Different things. Flannel is warm and cosy and matte. Satin is cool and fluid and has a subtle sheen. Neither is better — it depends entirely on whether you run warm and what kind of fabric you like sleeping in. If you're not sure, the flannel set at $130 is a lower-risk place to start.
Washing?
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, lay flat to dry. Skip the dryer — heat isn't great for satin's surface over time.
