About Salted

Salted is a small-batch caramel company run by three women in rural Alberta. Every caramel is cooked by hand in small batches, made without preservatives and individually wrapped. Their holiday mixes are a highlight of the season in our boutiques.

Good to Know

Which flavour should I try first?
Start with the Classic Sea Salt, then the Peppermint Hot Chocolate, and save the Turtle for last. Or eat them in whatever order you like. We’re not your mother.

Does it contain nuts?
Yes. The Turtle caramels contain pecans, so this mix isn’t suitable for anyone with a nut allergy. For a recipe without nuts, try the Christmas Light Caramels (made in a kitchen that also handles nuts).

How should I store them?
Somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. Buying ahead? Freeze them (they keep up to 3 months) and bring them out the day before you gift or serve them.
