The Full Story
A women's full-length kimono duster in the Fleur de Lune print: magnolias, pears, figs and luna moths drawn from 18th and 19th century botanical books, with little golden bumblebees along the trim. The Market of Stars Opera Duster is cut from 100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as bamboo and wood) that drapes beautifully, and at 116 cm (about 46″) it falls long and sweeping. It comes with a detachable self-tie belt in the trim print, gold bees on a brown background. Throw it over jeans and a soft knit sweater for a crisp walk through the leaves, or layer it over a slip dress or a velvet tank when the evening calls for a little theatre. The backdrop is a photograph of designer Danielle's own 150-year-old work table, weathered with traces of old prints and paint.
